We develop custom tools ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcReader and ArcPad. These tools can enhance your GIS user's experience with tools that improve productivity and add functionality to your GIS environment, as well as integrate your GIS with your other enterprise systems. These tools are developed with open software technology based around Microsoft Visual Studio and can be developed in your preference of languages, such as VB.NET or C#. The ArcPad development uses Esri ArcPad Developer tools.
As with all of our custom ArcGIS tools, you'll have complete access to the software modules in order to allow you to maintain the tools yourself after implementation, or we can continue to enhance and expand your tools for you.
Implementing and Esri GIS requires a database design be completed prior to loading data from other systems or for entering data manually. We can design your electric, gas, water or wastewater geodatabase based on your needs. Starting with one of the Esri-supplied standard data models or from a blank sheet, we can examine your data requirements and application requirements and design a model that fits into your organization. Documents such as Visio Diagrams are created to show the logical model of your database, and after it's accepted, physical models, in the form of file geodatabases for personal use or ArcSDE schemas based on Oracle or SQL Server, can be generated, making the database environment ready for use.
We have significant experience converting data from CAD systems and other GIS environments to ArcGIS. Regardless of the data source, our conversion process takes into consideration all of the issues that can pop up during data migration. Items like spatial projection conversions, mapping of source data graphics and attributes to the appropriate Esri data model, associating text on the maps with the appropriate GIS features, creation of feature-linked annotation and rule-based snapping of appropriate devices together for the network trace models.
