R&M has a strong focus in all aspects of GIS, including: • Geodatabase design • Geospatial data modeling • Data conversion and management • Digital cartography • Web map services deployment • Automated geoprocessing Founded in Alaska in 1969, R&M Consultants, Inc. is a multi-discipline firm specializing in cold region civil and structural engineering, earth sciences, surveying and mapping, and construction services. Since its inception, the firm has participated in many projects in urban and rural locations throughout Alaska. R&M’s project participation has often begun with initial site feasibility studies and because of the firm’s broad capabilities, extended from study-phase data collection and criteria formulation through the design and construction phases and into operational support efforts for completed facilities. The firm’s focus has been to provide a full range of technical services with a major emphasis on producing quality projects based on environmentally sound principles.
