Reflektar Tech is a Canadian technology company with an international client base. We specialize in software solutions for fully automated extraction of road features and assets from LiDAR and imagery. Our AI-powered software is available as both cloud-based and desktop applications and is designed for network-scale feature extraction and asset inventory. Unlike traditional solutions, Reflektar enables clients to process city-wide, regional, or state-wide mobile mapping data with minimal user interaction. This significantly reduces the time and effort required for large-scale infrastructure projects. Powered by proprietary deep learning algorithms, Reflektar automatically processes and segments hundreds of kilometres of data to detect, classify, extract, and analyze road assets and features. Extracted data can be exported in industry-standard formats compatible with ESRI GIS and CAD. For example, the software identifies traffic sign attributes including location, type, dimensions, and placement details and exports them to .SHP or .GDB format. It also generates fully automated exports of linear features such as pavement markings and curb lines in .DXF and other CAD formats. Reflektar supports a range of transportation applications including high-definition (HD) map production for autonomous driving, geometric and safety assessments (e.g., virtual sight distance analysis), highway maintenance and asset management, road widening initiatives, and transportation planning projects.

Available as SaaS, cloud-based, and desktop applications, the platform uses proprietary deep learning models to detect, classify, segment, extract, and analyze road features and assets across hundreds of kilometres of data. It is integrated with an online mobile mapping viewer for visualization, inspection, and validation, and is connected to a comprehensive asset management system for organizing and maintaining infrastructure inventories. Extracted outputs are delivered in industry-standard GIS and CAD formats, including detailed traffic sign inventories with attributes such as location, type, dimensions, and placement, as well as vectorized features like lane and pavement markings and curb lines. The platform supports applications including HD map production for autonomous driving, highway maintenance and asset management, road safety and geometric analysis, virtual sight distance studies, road widening projects, transportation planning, and roadway asset inventory management.
