Overview:
RESPEC is comprised of engineers, scientists and information technology professionals with a complementary range of expertise that allows for a comprehensive analysis in various applications through data collection, database development, GIS, and mathematical modeling. Our goal is to combine science, GIS, and information technology to develop integrated, scalable, and cost-effective solutions for our clients. RESPEC extensively uses ArcGIS for Desktop and ArcGIS Server for these solutions.
RESPEC uses GIS routinely to understand, analyze, and interpret data, such as biological and physical habitats, geomorphology, hydrologic and hydraulic data, water quality, socioeconomic factors, mining and energy data and many other data types. We are also experienced at data integration, and we work with clients to integrate existing datasets and into one geodatabase. We design geodatabase schema to meet client data needs and develop import tools to integrate data that are in a non-GIS format into a geodatabase. RESPEC uses Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase, and Informix.
RESPEC has also managed the design and deployment of ArcGIS for Server web maps for our clients that simplify the visualization and analysis of location-based data. Our clients experience near real-time access to data; reporting services; data quality control and editing features; multiple-role security levels; data edit/delete tracking log capabilities; and integrated analysis using these web-map maps.
