The Royal HaskoningDHV Mobile Inspection App (RHDHV-MIA) enables Building Inspectors to gather inspection data, communicate found defects with the contractor, allow the contractor to report the repaired defects, create reports for the contractor and client and track and inform the customer on the progress of the inspections. According to Building Inspector Rob Karremans: "the Mobile Inspection App provides an immediate savings of 20% compared to traditional inspection field work. These savings accumulate to 25 - 30% if you take the related work-flows (compiling formal inspection reports, progress reports, negotiations with the contractor) into account".
