SSP Sync from SSP Innovations helps you take an incremental approach to your Utility Network migration. It helps you protect business continuity and reduce risk, cost, and the effects of change management when migrating to the Utility Network. Moving to the Utility Network can feel like an insurmountable challenge. But it doesn't have to be. The philosophy behind SSP Sync is all about offering an incremental change over to the new network management environment. This lets your team build an internal business case for the migration and incrementally migrate users, data, and workflows to help manage the change. How does it work? First, we recommend converting your current environment over to the Utility Network, putting your Geometric Network data into the Utility Network model. This lets you begin to understand what your data looks like in the new environment. It also lets you plan for changes to your data. SSP will help you do this. Our team has been working with the Utility Network since alpha, has published more content on preparing your data for the Utility Network than anyone else, and has done so because we want to help you make the smoothest transition possible during this migration. Once your data is in the Utility Network, SSP Sync will regularly publish the changes to your Geometric Network data to the Utility Network. This means you don't have to move all at once. Your users can continue working in their familiar Geometric Network environment, until you are ready to move groups of them over to the Utility Network.
