Stantec’s GIS group offers specialized services in needs assessment and implementation planning, asset management, application/web-based design and development, enterprise GIS integration, data conversion, and training for port authorities, local and state governments, utility districts, energy providers, mining companies and federal agencies. Our GIS staff understand how to efficiently integrate GIS into daily activities as well as design applications that are scalable and easily maintained. Additionally, our staff makes effective use of both manual and automated procedures and methodologies to deliver high-quality products.
Stantec offers “One-Stop-Shop” GIS services to support organizations throughout the entire GIS development lifecycle. Stantec takes pride in the ability to develop tailored GIS solutions for an individual client’s organizational needs. To fully understand the end vision of a GIS, our Team invests the time to fully understand the organization’s needs and objectives, potential “pain points” along with other driving factors of the organization. Armed with this knowledge, we are able to provide turnkey management, the analysis of data, as well as assist our clients in organizing and establishing their own GIS and information management systems. Stantec is an Esri Business Partner, holds the ArcGIS System Ready and Utility Network Management Specialty designations.
