Overview
Since 1983, Taylor Engineering, Inc. has focused its attention on water-related issues and the effects of water resource activities on the environment. Today, Taylor Engineering, a Small Business Administration (SBA) and General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule holder, takes on projects that cover the spectrum of water-related issues. Taylor Engineering’s certified geographic information systems (GIS) professionals routinely employ the latest version of ArcGIS to perform geospatial analyses, develop map products, and manage data for input to engineering models. In addition to our relationship with the Esri Partner Network, we apply a wide variety of custom GIS tools to evaluate spatial data to create leading-edge solutions for water resources, land use, and environmental maters. Our GIS team develops custom tools to ensure highly efficient analysis. Some of these tools include: a raster editing suite designed to perform a variety of editing and interpolation algorithms directly to raster images; a toolset for creating hydraulic structures such as levees and channels using triangulated irregular networks.
