Founded in 1997 by a partnership of GIS specialists and foresters, the Kenerson Group (TKG) has provided innovative, user-friendly GIS solutions to state and local governments, utility companies, and private-sector arboriculture and forestry firms throughout the United States and Canada. The company is based in Western Massachusetts. We develop GIS solutions for arboriculture, forestry and invasive plant species management. One such solution is TreeWorks™ a urban tree management application built on the latest ArcGIS platforms. TKG also provides other GIS services including building StoryMap narratives.

The Kenerson Group's premier product, TreeWorks™, is a robust tree site management solution developed by a partnership of consulting arborists, GIS experts and software developers. TreeWorks™ from The Kenerson Group provides an effective and economical tool for collecting and managing data about community trees from initial inventory forward. It simplifies the collection and management of tree site data including tree attributes and condition, site conditions, utilities and infrastructure, tree risk assessment data, and more. Clients include municipalities, educational facilities, golf courses, military bases, and consulting arborists. The Kenerson Group is a full-service GIS consulting firm and has extensive experience designing and implementing customized GIS solutions. Client applications also involve transmission line and other rights-of-way land data management. This includes, but is not limited to, pipeline, electric utility, highway, forestry, parks, and natural resources.
