An Esri Gold Partner for 20 years, True North Geographic Technologies helps utilities and local governments modernize their GIS, deploy and configure the ArcGIS® platform, and connect GIS to their business systems. We hold the Esri State & Local Government and Federal Small Business specialties, and our clients have earned 12 Esri Special Achievement in GIS (SAG) awards.
Founded in 2007 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, our team brings 185+ years of combined experience and holds 24 Esri technical certifications. We support water, wastewater, gas, and electric utilities and city and county governments serving populations from 5,000 to 660,000+, across GIS, IT, public works, planning, permitting, and public safety departments.
We partner with partners. Esri is our core technology partner, but much of our work is delivered alongside other Esri partners our clients rely on. We are a Trimble Gold Services Partner for Enterprise Asset Management (Trimble Unity, formerly Cityworks) and partner with Avolve, Novotx, and NISC to make sure their solutions and the ArcGIS platform work as one. Partner account teams gain a dependable ArcGIS implementation resource, and clients get one team accountable for the whole system. Esri named True North its 2025 Federal Small Business Specialty Collaboration Partner.
