Curb Digitization captures every block face from LiDAR and imagery and delivers the inventory as standards-based geospatial layers that fit directly into the city’s existing GIS environment, so curb data is governed the same way as any other municipal asset. Digital Curb lets parking, transportation, and public works staff propose, review, and approve regulation changes in a controlled workflow, with full history on every zone, space, and sign, before changes go live. Once approved, updates flow automatically to open CDS and MDS feeds, operational dashboards, mobile and curbside apps, and Smart Sign displays in the field. Curb Vision edge-AI sensing adds privacy-safe occupancy, dwell, turnover, and loading events, and Curb Intelligence turns that activity into reporting, a CurbScore equity and accessibility index, and the evidence to adjust policy with confidence. NexCity also normalizes feeds from more than 40 parking and transportation vendors into one consistent dataset, so the city keeps one source of truth across departments and vendors. Proven under USDOT SMART grants in Minneapolis, San José, and Buffalo.
