GIS is today by no means an “IT island” anymore. The GIS needs to be integrated with several other important, if not mission critical IT systems within utilities. Typical systems to be integrated are • Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP), like SAP, Oracle Financials or Microsoft Dynamics • Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM) • SCADA and DMS systems • Network calculation systems The UT Integrator has been designed for near real-time synchronization of data and has been designed for bulk transfer of data. Some of the key functionality of UT Integrator: • Interfaces towards remote systems: SOAP / REST / XML, ODATA, table reader, CSV file reader • SAP specific interfaces: IDOC, RFC • Other enterprise buses (e.g. WBI, Biztalk, SAP XI etc.) may be integrated • Reliable and secured communication, extensive logging The UT Integrator has been certified for integration with SAP ERP 6.0 by SAP SE.
