Overview
Wingtra builds professional drone surveying and mapping systems designed to deliver accurate geospatial data with less time in the field and fewer manual steps. The system combines WingtraRAY, a VTOL fixed-wing drone, with purpose-built sensors and an integrated workflow that connects flight planning, ground control, processing, and data export in one platform. WingtraRAY covers up to 550 hectares (1,360 acres) per flight and delivers 3 cm (0.1 ft) absolute accuracy using post-processed kinematic (PPK) positioning. Teams can choose from RGB, LIDAR, and multispectral sensors—from topographic surveys and earthworks monitoring to vegetation analysis and environmental mapping. Wingtra imagery is compatible with Esri Site Scan, giving teams a direct path from drone capture to 3D outputs and ArcGIS for analytics and hosting. WingtraCLOUD supports over 6,500 coordinate systems and exports in standard geospatial formats including GeoTIFF orthomosaics, LAS point clouds, and digital elevation models. Thousands of customers across construction, mining, transportation, agriculture, and environmental management use Wingtra to capture survey-grade data faster. WingtraRAY is NDAA compliant, Blue UAS cleared, and certified for operations over people in the US (FAA Category 3) and Europe (EASA C6), making it ready for government and federally funded projects. Wingtra is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, with teams across the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific.
