What You Get

ArcGIS Data Appliance is ready for quick deployment; no special software or training is needed. Choose from five different products that are based on geography and the level of detail you need.

Product options

Eight options are available:

World Basic
Includes maps with small and medium scales down to 1:144,000, or level 12.

World Standard
Everything in World Basic plus large-scale worldwide maps with a subset of high-resolution imagery in the World Imagery basemap. Also includes Vector Basemaps.

World Advanced
Everything in World Basic and World Standard, plus high-resolution imagery worldwide. Also includes Vector Basemaps.

North America Standard
Everything in World Basic, plus large-scale maps for North America and a subset of North America high-resolution imagery in the World Imagery basemap. Also includes Vector Basemaps.

North America Advanced
Everything in World Basic and North America Standard, plus in World Imagery, high-resolution imagery for North America. Also includes Vector Basemaps.

Esri Vector Basemaps
Includes vector basemaps and reference maps using data from commercial, partner, contributor, open and community sources. These basemaps cover small, medium, and large scales.

OSM Vector Basemaps
Includes vector basemaps and reference maps using data from Open StreetMap. These basemaps cover small, medium, and large scales.

Vector Basemaps
Includes both Esri Vector Basemaps and OSM Vector Basemaps.

Software options

ArcGIS Data Appliance is designed to run with ArcGIS Server software. Two options are available:

ArcGIS Data Appliance
This option is for organizations that already have ArcGIS Server, and includes a pre-loaded network-attached storage (NAS) device with the Data Appliance for your ArcGIS product of choice.

ArcGIS Data Appliance Server Bundle
This option is for organizations that don't have ArcGIS Server. It includes a pre-loaded network-attached storage (NAS) device with the Data Appliance for your ArcGIS product of choice, plus ArcGIS Server software, a version of Microsoft Windows Server, and Microsoft SQL server (optional).

Hardware

The Network-Attached Storage (NAS) device from Arxys is used with ArcGIS Server. It comes pre-loaded with the products that you choose. The hardware is available for the Windows operating system.
