Redlands, California—Esri, the global leader in spatial analytics, today announced the opening of a new St. Louis office, adding to the company’s existing presence in nearby St. Charles, Missouri. The new office is situated in the Cortex neighborhood, a 200-acre innovation hub and technology district integrated into St. Louis’s historic Central West End.The up-and-coming neighborhood is also near one of Esri’s biggest federal customers, the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), whose Next NGA West (N2W) campus is only a five minute drive from the new Esri office.

“The expansion of our St. Louis area presence into the Cortex neighborhood is an exciting development,” said Patty Mims, director, national government at Esri. “Not only is Esri proud to be part of a burgeoning tech hub, but also we are looking forward to the opportunity to better serve customers like the NGA, which is continuing to make St. Louis its home.”

New amenities in the Cortex neighborhood will include access to Innovation Hall, a 300-person event venue that includes drop-in workspaces and a restaurant featuring gourmet, locally inspired cuisine.

Like other Esri offices in the United States and worldwide, the St. Louis location in the Cortex neighborhood will serve the unique set of GIS users who work and live nearby. In particular, the new office will address the growing needs of federal defense, intelligence, and agricultural customers as well as local government staff.
