Esri Electric and Gas GIS Conference

Get Involved

What You Can do Now:

  • Network Online — Let your fellow attendees know you're coming to Memphis via GeoNet, the new Esri community, your social-networking resource for pre-conference connecting!

  • Presenter Resources — Find out everything you need to know about presenting at the Esri Electric and Gas GIS Conference.

What You Can do at the Conference:

  • Mirimichi Golf Tournament — Play Tennessee's #1 golf course, Mirimichi, voted this year's top course in the state by Golfweek. Email egug@esri.com to register for the tournament. Be ready to play by the 9:30 a.m. shotgun start on Sunday and have your $80-per-person fee on arrival.

  • Party at Graceland — Pack your blue suede shoes for the dinner, party, and tour of Graceland, Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. Stroll through the fabulous Elvis Presley Automobile Museum surrounded by one of the most awesome collections of hot cars, motorcycles, and "toys" ever assembled under one roof... all the while being entertained by Elvis himself on a huge drive-in movie screen. Take advantage of a private, after-hours tour of the Graceland Mansion and Grounds, where you can partake in a self-guided audio tour of the property before returning back to the Plaza to visit additional attractions and venues for fabulous food and libations. Transportation provided to and from Graceland.

  • Memphis Light, Gas and Water Site Tour — Join us for a two-hour tour of the Netter’s Business Center on Wednesday, October 29. You’ll learn how MLGW has implemented a fully ArcGIS-based operational data system after only one year of moving to ArcGIS. See how GIS helps the utility’s Emergency Operation Center react during a storm, flood, or other emergency situation. Experience how field crews use maps, and how the utility uses ArcGIS for Server and Workflow Manager to maximize efficiency and collaborate with local agencies. “With Esri, it opened whose data we can share with and whose data we can consume.” Let MLGW share its knowledge with you. Email egug@esri.com to register for the tour.
