Esri User Conference

July 20 – 24, 2015 | San Diego Convention Center

User Software Applications Fair

Test-drive innovative custom applications developed by ArcGIS users and vote for your favorites. At the closing session on Friday, Esri president Jack Dangermond will recognize the top three applications in each category.

Share Your Project with Your Peers

If you've developed an application using Esri technology, or customized an Esri software product to meet specific business requirements, you can share your work at the User Software Applications Fair. Entries that demonstrate integration with non-GIS applications are encouraged.

Space is limited and entries are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants are encouraged to spend time at the fair to speak with their peers about their entry.

Entries are categorized by scope, creativity, effectiveness, and delivery of an application to meet the stated requirements, independent of the software used. The winning applications will make the best use of Esri software (alone or in combination with other technologies) in these categories:

  • Web-Based Applications—GIS applications delivered via web browser
  • Mobile GIS Applications—GIS applications developed for mobile platforms such as Windows Phone, Android, iOS (iPad or iPhone), or ArcGIS Mobile or ArcPad
  • Desktop GIS Applications—ArcGIS Desktop or ArcEngine applications, including entries that are developed using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), ArcObjects SDK (Java, C++, .NET), or Python
  • Multimedia Maps (Former Virtual Map Gallery)—Animations, CD/DVD ROM, or other multimedia presentations displaying the results of GIS analysis
