Awards

The types of applications that are encouraged are focused on the scope, creativity, effectiveness, and delivery of an application to meet the stated requirements, independent of the software used to create it. The winning applications will make the best use of Esri software (alone or in combination).

Examples of application types:

  • Web-Based Applications: GIS applications delivered to the end user via web browser (e.g., applications developed using Web App Builder for ArcGIS, or the ArcGIS Javascript API)
  • Mobile GIS Applications: GIS applications developed for Windows Phone, Android™, or iOS™
  • Desktop GIS Applications: stand-alone GIS applications or tools developed using Runtime, ArcObjects, or Python
  • Multimedia Maps: Animations, CD/DVD, or other multimedia presentations displaying the results of GIS analysis

Note: Please remember that entries must be non-commercial. You may not market your products or services at the User Software Applications Fair.
