MapObjects LT is a collection of mapping components for application developers, consisting of an ActiveX control and other programmable ActiveX automation objects. Developers can also build custom applications using ESRI's latest platform, ArcGIS Engine. ArcGIS Engine is based on ArcObjects, the core set of components from which ArcGIS products are built, and is compatible with multiple application programming interfaces.
