Faculty Openings in the University of Redlands M.S. in GIS Program

The University of Redlands, Redlands, California, invites applications for several faculty positions in its new Master of Science in GIS program beginning February 2002. This 11-month, full-time professional program builds on the strong linkages between the University and its campus neighbor, Esri. The program combines a strong GI Science foundation with extensive practical experience on real GIS projects. Program faculty combine both full-time, tenure track and short-term, visiting faculty positions. Qualified professionals and academics from around the world are invited to join the university to build an exciting new program of international stature in Redlands. Positions available:

  • GI Systems Project Management Faculty, rank open (instructor through professor)--Initial appointment time beginning February 2002. Pending approval, a full-time position will be advertised for September 2002. Professional experience as a GIS project manager plus minimum of master's degree required; Ph.D. preferred.
  • GI Science Visiting Faculty--Two- to five-week appointments with a full range of GI Science topics possible and courses offered throughout the year; see Web announcement for dates.
