Available for ArcInfo Users

Parcel Editor from NovaLIS

Esri has arranged with NovaLIS Technologies (Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada) to distribute at no cost the NovaLIS Parcel Editor 3.1 application toArcInfo 7.2.1 for Windows NT users under current ArcInfo maintenance. The ARC COGO extension is required to run Parcel Editor. ArcInfo users not currently licensed to use ARC COGO can try the 90-day evaluation version of ARC COGO included in their ArcInfo box. Users in the United States can call Esri Customer Service at 1-888-377-4575 to obtain your evaluation keycode. Users outside the United States, please contact your local Esri distributor.

Parcel Editor 3.2 (to be available soon) will allow a smooth transition for users migrating to ArcInfo 8. Its ArcInfo Open Development Environment-based user interface is very similar to the ArcInfo 8 interface. For users under current Parcel Editor maintenance with NovaLIS, Parcel Editor 3.2 will be provided as a free upgrade. The most significant new feature of Parcel Editor 3.2 is the Spatial Adjustment Wizard, which lets you take a nongeoreferenced vector file (such as a DXF file of a parcel), import it, and adjust it so that it is georeferenced.

Parcel Editor users can register and purchase maintenance through NovaLIS. Optional training is available at the NovaLIS Learning Center in Halifax. Please contact Bill Campbell (tel.: 902-423-1800, ext. 292) for dates and availability.

Parcel Editor 3.1 is now shipping. To request a copy of Parcel Editor from NovaLIS, contact your regional Esri office or E-mail service@esri.com. Outside the United States, please contact your local Esri distributor for more information. NovaLIS can be reached at 902-423-1800 or on the Web at www.novalistech.com.
