PC ARC/INFO 4 Offers New Features and Enhanced Performance for Windows UsersPC ARC/INFO 4 marks an important development in this software by introducing 32-bit Windows executables, considerably improving processing speed on Windows operating systems. In addition, Esri is adding many of the new features that PC ARC/INFO users have been asking for including image support in that PC ARCPLOT and PC ARCEDIT, double-precision coverages, new spatial operators (such as theme-on-theme selections), user-defined commands, persistent and multilevel relates on data files, and more.
