Presented in Lisbon by Esri Portugal and CPL Events

16th European, Middle Eastern, and African User Conference

The 16th European, Middle Eastern, and African User Conference will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, this year (October 17-19). Lisbon is considered to be one of the most EMEA 2001 conference logobeautiful capitals in the world. Its reputation was confirmed in 1999 by the fact that two million more visitors came to Lisbon than in 1998, when it hosted the World Exposition, and catapulted the City from 30th to eighth on the ranking of the world's most popular meeting venues.

The 16th Esri EMEA User Conference, sponsored by Esri Portugal (formerly Octopus Portugal) and CPL Events, will boast an excellent and technically comprehensive scientific program including a vast selection of workshops and seminars, user and software presentations, and technology exhibitions. All this allied to a varied and exciting cultural and social program will not only provide an insight into the rich and fascinating history of this country but also allow for networking opportunities among Esri software users. Approximately 1,000 delegates from a wide range of countries are expected.
