Esri Hong Kong Hosts GIS ConferenceDecember 6-7, 2000, Esri Hong Kong Limited hosted the largest GIS Conference in Hong Kong, bringing together top-notch local and international experts in the field to review their experience and share their vision. "Geography Network" was the theme of the Second Esri Hong Kong User Conference, which was held at the Hong Kong Productivity Council. The one and one-half-day event drew more than 500 users. The days were packed with important keynote speeches, user meetings, and exhibitions. In addition, the conference attracted more than 25 press reporters including Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB), Asia Television Limited, Information Services Department of The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, PC Home (HK) Limited, Tai Kung Pao (H.K.) Limited, and the Oriental Daily News.
