GIS Day Sponsors

GIS Day was truly a grassroots event principally sponsored by the National Geographic Society, the American Association of Geographers, and Esri. The event was also benefited by the assistance of 12 associate sponsors, which included the American Congress of Surveying and Mapping, the Center for International Earth Science Information Network, the American Geographic Society, the Geospatial Information Technology Association, the National States Geographic Information Council, the National Council of Geographic Education, the National Center for Geographic Information, the University Consortium for Geographic Information Science, the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association, The Nature Conservancy, the World Wildlife Fund, and the Wildlife Conservation Society.
