Esri Presents Smart Grid and Utility GIS-Based Solutions at TechAdvantage 2010 Conference and Expo

Redlands, California—When electric cooperative professionals convene this week for TechAdvantage 2010, Esri will present smart grid implementation strategies and other utility solutions based on geographic information system (GIS) technology.

The TechAdvantage 2010 Conference and Expo is scheduled for February 10–15, 2010, in Atlanta, Georgia. Visit Esri at booth number 725 to see demos and discuss the use of GIS for mapping, asset and outage management, and field crew automation. Utilities are also invited to join Esri staff for two presentations: 

Is Your GIS Smart Grid Ready?—Learn what it means to be smart grid ready and how GIS can help.  Participants will also be able to fill out a self-assessment and discuss best practices to ensure smart grid readiness. Saturday, February 13, 9:15 a.m.–10:15 a.m. in Learning Lab 5.

Leveraging Geography to Drive Business Value—Learn how GIS solutions provide a single, integrated system for data management, planning and analysis, mobile workforce optimization, and operational awareness. Saturday, February 13, 10:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m., in room C203.
