An ArcGIS for Server Extension
Use ArcGIS Image Extension for Server to make large collections of imagery and raster datasets available to others. By accessing imagery and data via focused apps, they can quickly visualize and analyze the data using on-the-fly processing and dynamic mosaicking.
Reduce data duplication and time between acquiring new imagery and making it accessible. Image Extension serves mosaic datasets, which simplify the management of all forms of imagery and rasters. It catalogs the sources and defines metadata and on-the-fly processing for imagery.
On-the-fly processing reduces the amount of imagery you maintain while providing more valuable imagery. Image Extension lets you derive useful imagery products from raw imagery with on-the-fly processing. This includes orthorectification, pan sharpening, rendering, enhancement, filtering, and map algebra capabilities.
Many imagery collections contain lots of overlapping, continually updated, imagery. Dynamic Mosaicking enables new content to be added and displayed dynamically. Users can examine temporal datasets to understand changes over time or visualize imagery based on what information is important to them.
ArcGIS Image Extension for Server is available for ArcGIS for Server Advanced and Standard.
