What's New in ArcGIS Pro Intelligence 2.9

ArcGIS Pro Intelligence is intelligence analysis software for investigative, geospatial, and link analysis. Use link analysis, 2D and 3D maps, timelines, imagery exploitation, and graphs to uncover patterns, trends, and relationships in data to inform decision-making. ArcGIS Pro Intelligence scales to meet your mission whether you need to conduct movement analysis, understand patterns of life, or perform investigative analysis. ArcGIS Pro Intelligence is interoperable and extensible, supporting your data integration strategy across multiple domains in connected, disconnected, and air gapped networks.

What’s New in ArcGIS Pro Intelligence 2.9

In the ArcGIS Pro Intelligence 2.9 release you’ll find new geoprocessing tools to analyze movement data and understand patterns of life, an updated start page, and new symbols requested by the community.

Find Frequented Locations

Use the new geoprocessing tool, Find Frequented Locations, to identify areas where a movement track has dwelled for multiple time periods and aggregate those locations based on a track identifier. In other words, answer the question: where does this individual device spend its time? By understanding these patterns, analysts can start to anticipate future behaviors. Learn more about using find frequented locations for patterning movement, here.

Select Movement Tracks

Just as the name suggests, Select Movement Tracks allows you to select movement tracks based on an area of interest. You can simply draw an area or use an existing layer to define the area of interest and optionally choose whether you want to select movement data that occurred before, after, or before and after that time. This helps you to see where an individual device was coming from and where it was going. To learn more, check out this blog post.

New and Improved Start Page

The improved start page has a completely new look! The carousel has been replaced by a grid, giving you easier access to your projects. You can now sort your projects alphabetically or by creation date and search for a project by name. Resources to help you get started with ArcGIS Pro Intelligence and keep up with new developments are available directly from the start page.
