Esri complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and endeavors to ensure that all contracted (Esri sponsored) spaces comply. For our attendees requiring accessibility assistance, Esri is pleased to offer a dedicated, on-site contact. Please reach out to our accessibility team ahead of the conference for more information.
American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters will be available at the conference. Attendees who need the services of an ASL interpreter are asked to email their request with their schedule needs to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Service animals are welcome at the conference. Service animals, as defined by the ADA, are dogs that are "individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities." Please email the Esri accessibility team if you have any special requirements.
Our conference fosters an environment where collaboration can thrive and is encouraged, innovation is abundant, and all attendees are provided the opportunity to learn and grow.
As the sponsor of a global conference with a diverse community, Esri embraces and respects the religious affiliations of our community members. Attendees have access to a prayer/quiet room to reflect, meditate, and practice their faith during our conference. Please visit the Information Desk for the location of and access to the room.
Esri is pleased to offer nursing rooms for the use of attendees and Esri staff during the conference. These rooms are equipped with electrical outlets and seating and are secured by a key lock. Please visit the Information Desk for the location of and access to the room or to arrange accommodations if you have any special requirements such as a need to store expressed milk.
For the safety and security of all involved, all conference sessions, tracks, and exhibits are for registered attendees only unless otherwise noted. All registered conference attendees must be at least 18 years of age. However, we offer several opportunities for attendees to include their families, partners, and children in parts of the conference.
Infants under two years of age may accompany registered attendees into the conference sessions, workshops, Expo, Map Gallery, and other activities as long as the infant is in a carrier and supervised at all times. If the infant begins to fuss or creates a distraction for other attendees in the session, we ask that the parent step out to attend to the infant. Exceptions may apply, so we request that attendees reach out via email and discuss individual needs with the Esri accessibility team.
Guests are welcome to accompany attendees to the Map Gallery Reception, Family Night at the Expo, 5K Fun Run/Walk, and the Thursday Night Party. Additional fees for the 5K Fun Run/Walk and Thursday Night Party may apply.
Esri is dedicated to a sustainable planet, investing in solutions that help protect the earth and advocate for its care.
Our sustainability efforts include
- Working to reduce the carbon footprint for our events.
- Using fully recyclable materials made from postconsumer waste fibers for our signage instead of the traditional foam core boards.
- Moving toward zero plastics for food and beverage options.
- Hosting our event at the San Diego Convention Center—a LEED Gold-certified facility.
Please reach out to our sustainability team with any questions.
Conference attendees needing first aid during event hours should visit the First Aid Desk. Please see the specific on-site information for the location of the desk and protocol during this event.
For life-threatening emergencies, call 911 immediately from any available phone or cell phone, then notify on-site security staff so that they can quickly direct first responders.
If you witness or are subjected to inappropriate behavior or have any other concerns, notify an Esri staff member at our Registration Desk as soon as possible.
We ask that all Esri staff and conference attendees be mindful of the Esri Code of Conduct for Conferences and Community Spaces to help create a safe and inclusive environment for everyone—free of harassment, aggression, and intimidation. Please be respectful and report any inappropriate behavior to Esri staff.
If you have questions regarding the conference code of conduct or its implementation, please get in touch with us at email@example.com.
