ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud Pricing

ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud is a plug-in that enables data-driven map creation directly in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. Trained cartographers, graphic designers, and GIS analysts can leverage maps authored in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, or ArcGIS Enterprise and ready-to-use hosted content in ArcGIS Living Atlas of the World to create beautiful and informative visuals using familiar graphic design workflows.

Start with a Creator user type

The Creator user type is a foundational user type. Every subscription requires at least one foundational user type to activate the subscription and administer members and content. The Creator user type offers access to full functionality in ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud and additional applications in ArcGIS.

Dependent user types

Once you select a Creator user type to administer your subscription, you can add a variety of dependent user types. The features available in the extension will vary based on the dependent user type license. Administrators and GIS managers can add these to distribute appropriate licenses based on their team's mapping and design needs.

Additional dependent user types

Add more user type licenses to enable designing with maps. The features available vary based on the dependent user type. For a complete list of what features are available for each user type, see the product functionality matrix. Administrators can assign the appropriate user types based on your team’s mapping and design needs.

Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud is available at multiple license options. Depending on your mapping and design needs, choose a license level and user type that works best for you and your team.  For a complete list of what’s available at each license level, see the product functionality matrix. I have purchased the necessary license. How do I start making maps?

Once you have acquired the license based on your needs, you can use your ArcGIS user account to activate the plug-in. If you don’t have the plug-in software installed, download and install it first. Before installing note the supported Illustrator & Photoshop versions. Use ArcGIS Maps for Adobe resources to explore videos and tutorials to learn how to make maps.

How does the Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud Plus subscription work?

The Plus subscription is a month-to-month subscription that is purchased and managed directly though the plug-in. First, download the plug-in and install it. In one of the host applications (Illustrator or Photoshop), launch the plug-in via the Windows > Extension menu. In the sign-in window, click Sign Up as a new user. Choose the Plus option and follow on-screen instructions to create your subscription. The subscription is automatically renewed unless cancelled. The credit card on file is charged three days before the term end date. Esri provides a receipt of the transaction two to three business days after the credit card is charged.

Can I give others access to my account?

Unfortunately, this is not permitted. Each user name for Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud Plus and ArcGIS Online accounts is intended for a single user only. If multiple people will use ArcGIS Maps for Adobe Creative Cloud in your company, then all users must have their own account.
