Geographic information system (GIS) technology is based on a simple concept. When you add points on a map—say, bike shops—you’re able to see how close that bike shop is to you. That’s geographic intelligence. Esri scales that concept up by designing systems that make the world’s data intelligible through cartography. From planets to our oceans to the smallest indoor spaces, everything is illuminated by GIS.

In other words, when you choose Esri you join something big.

Real Work. Real Experience.

Esri internships are 12 weeks with competitive pay. You’ll work on projects that matter, such as creating apps to speed emergency aid or conducting research for a business development campaign. Expand your skills with technical training and professional development workshops.

Business and Pleasure

Are you hungry for knowledge and healthy challenges? Your intern experience will be enriched by competitions and learning opportunities.

Teams work together in app-building contests and hackathons. Sharpen your mind during lunch at brown bag speaker sessions. Join other staff at mixers to make new friends and expand your professional network.

The Esri Café is a sunny eatery with glass walls where teams have business meetings for a change of pace. Chefs make salads, international cuisine, and pizza daily. The café even has a mini Starbucks for your latte fix.

Unique Company. Unique Location.

Redlands is centrally located and about an hour away from beaches, mountains, and deserts. You can camp in the lush forest of Twin Peaks one night and then go desert hiking in Joshua Tree the next afternoon. And if you like big cities, exciting attractions and night life are just a short drive away in Palm Springs, Los Angeles, and San Diego.
