Discovering Real-Time Capabilities and IoT Integration

The Mid-Atlantic GIS community heard from guest speaker Tim Haynes, Deputy CIO, Geographic Information Officer/Chief Data Officer of the City of Philadelphia Department of Streets, who shared how the City of Philadelphia is using real-time GIS to manage its sanitation operations.        

Esri staff also demonstrated how ArcGIS Velocity leverages sensors and the Internet of Things (IoT) to ingest, visualize, and analyze real-time data and key observations for immediate operational understanding.
