Expanding Disaster Response GIS Operations to Boost Interoperability and Coordination

As local, regional, and state governments begin to plan for increased roles in the management and administration of statewide or regional disaster response programs—potentially without assistance from the federal government—they will need to expand their GIS collaboration capabilities to facilitate swift data sharing, including geospatial data and imagery, search and rescue missions, damage assessments, and debris management. This webinar series will explore strategies and tactics that organizations can take to establish coordination in governance, develop online sharing groups, create resource guides for workforce surge, and Esri license options.
