Organizations today focus efforts on minimizing the impacts of many different types of natural disasters and protecting communities against them. Public Safety personnel use GIS technology to make data-driven decisions to prepare, respond, and recover from significant events. On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will cross over the United States. Several cities and communities in Oklahoma and Texas will experience a partial eclipse, and a totality will occur in Kerrville, Texas. As this date draws near, your Esri San Antonio team is here and ready to help educate our customers on current trends, technical advancements, and best practices related to GIS in public safety.
