Esri and GISTEC, the longtime Esri distributor for the United Arab Emirates, are pleased to present the 2004 Esri Middle East User Conference. The conference will be held December 7–9, 2004, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The theme of this year's conference is GIS: The Language of Geography.

Following the very successful Sixth Esri Middle East User Conference that was also held in Dubai in 2002, this year's conference will see approximately 700 Esri software users from the region coming together to learn and share knowledge. The User Conference features technical workshops, seminars, user presentations, a GIS education fair, and a technology exhibition, as well as unique cultural and social events. On the second day, there will be special sessions focusing on GIS in the petroleum industry and in municipalities.
