22nd Esri European User Conference

The 22nd Annual Esri European User Conference will be held in Stockholm, Sweden, September 26–28, 2007, and will European UC logobe organized by Esri S-GROUP Sverige AB, Esri's distributor in Sweden. The setting of this event will be City Conference Centre, which is one of Scandinavia's largest conference and convention venues.

The renowned city of Stockholm, with its cosmopolitan character and spectacular setting among many waterways, will welcome more than 1,000 Esri users from all around Europe to celebrate their GIS achievements and share experiences.

The opening day will feature keynote presentations by Jack Dangermond, president of Esri; David Maguire, director of products and international at Esri; and several other distinguished speakers. The following two days will feature technical briefings, as well as parallel sessions of user presentations. An exhibition with more than 30 business partners and a poster session complete this event.

The conference will present industry tracks focused on utilities, transportation/logistics, defense, public safety, health, education, local government, and the private sector. Special meetings will also be organized for European Union organizations and European national mapping agencies.

And to add to the charm of this unique experience, the gala dinner will take place in the impressive ballroom of Stockholm City Hall, the location of the annual Nobel Prize Banquet.
