GEO-INTEL 2003 New Orleans

ArcNews readers are invited to attend and participate in GEO-INTEL 2003 at the New Orleans Marriott Hotel, New Orleans, Louisiana, October 14-17, 2003. GEO-INTEL 2003 will provide an opportunity for leaders in Geospatial Intelligence to collaborate while offering industry CEOs and their staffs a chance to engage in discussion about the direction in which imagery, mapping, and related technologies are heading. The annual symposium is designed to create an environment of open cooperation between government, military, and the private sector. The symposium features eight keynote speakers including Lt. General James R. Clapper, director, National Imagery and Mapping Agency; members of Congress; and Bush administration appointees. Featured panel presentations include "GEO-INTEL: The Foundation for Security," "NIMA—The Future," "The High-Tech Battlefield," "Geospatial Information Management for the Enterprise," "Mainstreaming the Industry," "Geoinformation for Homeland Security—A National Perspective," "An Integrated View From First Responders," and "The View From Washington—A Congressional Roundtable," chaired by the Honorable Robert Livingston, former chairman, Committee on Appropriation, U.S. House of Representatives. GEO-INTEL 2003 will attract some 900 attendees and will showcase more than 50 corporate exhibits.
