The Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA) is holding its second Caribbean GIS Conference this year. The first event, held in Jamaica in September 2001, was a resounding success, and the community of GIS professionals in the Caribbean region is excited to be gathering again to share experiences and learn from each other. The 2004 conference will take place in Barbados during the week of May 17, 2004.

URISA's 42nd Annual Conference will take place in Reno, Nevada, November 6-10, 2004. Abstract submissions are due in March 2004 for consideration on the conference program. Share your successes with other GIS professionals.
