Recommended materials
Digital files (Macintosh or IBM) are preferred.
Please send the original digital file and include the following:
- All graphics and fonts, including screen and printer fonts, must be provided.
- All linked graphic files must be provided.
- Graphics must be saved in EPS or TIFF format and as a CMYK color value.
The file must be created at 100 percent in size and at 300 dpi or better.
- Please include a color laser copy or other positive proof with materials submitted.
- Files will be accepted on 3.5" floppy disks, CD-ROM, Zip disk, optical disk, or Jaz disk.
- Files may also be placed on ftp.esri.com/pub/incoming.
Things to know:
- ArcUser magazine is printed on a heat set web press and is designed in
Adobe PageMaker 6.5 ( Macintosh).
- 150 line screen is recommended for best reproduction.
- Bleed—Allow 1/8" bleed on all four sides.
- A neatline will be placed around ads if required.
Other acceptable material:
- Film negatives, right reading, emulsion side down.
- All four-color materials must be accompanied by one set of color match prints for each ad page.
- Black-and-white film negatives must be accompanied by a laser copy or positive proof.
