Redlands, California—The Esri Business Summit, which will convene July 22–24, 2012, in San Diego, California, is the largest gathering of commercial organizations dedicated to showing how a better understanding of location analytics and GIS can improve business effectiveness and efficiency. This unique forum will provide the perfect balance between visionary keynotes, inspiring breakout sessions, technical workshops, and networking.

The morning Plenary Session will feature speakers from some of the world's leading companies who will discuss the creation of better business systems through improved market and customer analysis. They will discuss how they are improving supply chain management and optimizing operations based on predictive analytics and enterprise collaboration. Featured speakers include the following:

"In the past two years, we've seen enormous growth in location-based decision making," says Simon Thompson, director of global commercial solutions at Esri. "Location analysis has proved itself to be an essential part of a successful organization's strategy to navigate in today's global economy. This conference is recognized as one of the best places to meet and collaborate with others with the same goals, learn what strategies work, and find the best path to implement them."

This year's summit will feature breakout sessions that discuss game-changing strategies implemented through thought leadership, technological insight, and best practices. A retail expert panel led by executives from organizations including Petco and Starbucks will also be offered, followed by an evening social.
