Description:
The Régie des Transports Métropolitains (RTM) operates the public transport network of the Marseille metropolitan area, including metro, tram and bus services. arx iT designed and implemented an Esri ArcGIS-based Web GIS platform providing interactive and real-time geographic information across the public transport network. The solution enables users to visualize the multimodal transport network, search for routes and itineraries, locate buses in real time and access up-to-date traffic and service information through an intuitive interactive map. The platform integrates static and real-time transportation data within a unified geospatial environment, demonstrating the value of GIS for improving access to mobility information and enhancing the passenger experience. This project demonstrates arx iT’s expertise in Esri ArcGIS, Web GIS, real-time geospatial data, public transportation GIS, mobility applications, system integration and the development of high-performance geospatial applications for transport operators.
