Description:

Maritime Limits and Boundaries is an ArcGIS Pro extension for the accurate, automated calculation of maritime limit lines and boundary lines directly inside ArcGIS. Developed in collaboration with Geoscience Australia and the Canadian Hydrographic Service, it computes all standard maritime zones (12, 24, and 200 nautical miles) as well as custom buffer zones for an entire coastline in a single process. Normal and straight baselines are processed simultaneously, high-resolution coastline data is handled without decimation, and every section of the generated boundary is linked back to its source critical points and metadata for full traceability. Data is read from and written directly to the ArcGIS geodatabase, keeping the workflow inside one harmonized environment and removing the conversion steps required by traditional toolchains. The result is faster processing, fewer manual errors, and defensible maritime boundaries built on an industry standard GIS platform.
