AUD for Telecommunications leverages the power of SBS AUD, an AutoCAD-based telecommunications design solution, that works together with ArcGIS Utility Network work together to enable intelligent design and documentation of telecommunications networks. AUD is a detailed design tool for structural, network, and equipment assets. These communications assets are created in AUD as intelligent 3D models that include engineering properties and other physical and topological attributes. AUD provides data and asset updates for ArcGIS Utility Network to manage communication circuits, network planning (capacity, utilization of network), and asset mapping.
