20th Esri European Conference Heads for Warsaw, Poland

The 20th European Conference for Esri users will take place in Warsaw, Poland, October 26–28, 2005. The event will be held at the Palace of Culture and Science in the heart of Warsaw under the central theme "GIS Brings It All Together." Technical workshops and user presentations will cover areas of utilities and telecommunications, cartography and survey, government and land planning, environment and natural resources, nature conservation and sustainable development, and defense and law enforcement, as well as education. In conjunction with the 20th Esri European Conference, the third Esri European Education User Conference (EurEdUC '05), a gathering of European educators, will be held October 25–27, 2005, at the Warsaw University of Technology in cooperation with the faculty of Geodesy and Cartography. The educational conference will bring together people from both higher education and primary and secondary schools. The abstract submission deadline for the 20th Esri European Conference is June 30, 2005. Map Gallery entries must be submitted no later than September 30, 2005.
