URISA Gears Up for a Busy 12 Months

The Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA) is hosting its 44th annual conference in Vancouver, British Columbia, September 26–29, 2006, where it anticipates an attendance of nearly 1,000 GIS professionals from around the globe. Thirteen preconference workshops, more than 200 presenters, a comprehensive exhibit hall, and numerous networking opportunities will make URISA 2006 the place for spatial information professionals.
