Demographic Data
More than 2,500 demographic variables, provided by Environics Analytics, including 2007, 2012, 2015, 2017, and 2022 updates and projections, are available. These variables, augmented by Adjusted Census 2006 data, are aggregated at the province, census division, census subdivision, census metropolitan area, census tract, federal electoral district, postal forward sortation area (FSA), and dissemination area (DA) levels.
Segmentation Data
Environics Analytics customer profiling system, PRIZM C2, classifies Canadian neighborhoods into 66 distinct market segments based on the most important drivers of consumer behavior: demographics, lifestyles, and values. PRIZMC2 data is available at the dissemination level (DA) in the Enhanced Dataset product and Standard product.
Business Data
This database from Infogroup/infoCanada represents the most accurate and up-to-date database of Canadian businesses. It is a proprietary, copyrighted database that contains information on approximately 1.4 million Canadian businesses. Data is compiled from more than 300 yellow page telephone directories and new business listings from public record notices. The database undergoes an annual, complete verification process conducted by telephone. The database provides clients with the ability to obtain nonmailable lists of businesses by trade area based on industry class (SIC), employee counts, and sales volume.
Canadian Shopping Centre Data
Canadian Directory of Shopping Centres, compiled by Rogers Publishing and provided by Environics Analytics, offers a national file of major shopping centres containing information such as centre name, address and intersection, centre type and anchor tenants, year opened, total store count, parking spaces, and gross leasable area (GLA). This database contains the most current and comprehensive shopping centre data available.
Canadian Street Map Data
Canadian street map data compiled from Multinet/Dynamap Transportation, the flagship product of Tele Atlas/TomTom, provides a nationwide basemap for visualization, routing, and drive-time analysis.
