Coming Soon: A Streamlined Digital Experience for Learning

Soon, it will be easier to find, start, and complete training via Esri Academy. Later this summer, Esri will unveil a new website design that reflects user feedback and research-based best practices for accessibility and digital experience. Additionally, the catalog, which houses hundreds of learning resources, is being enhanced to provide users with a seamless experience.

After the redesigned site launches, learners will continue to have access to their Esri training history, in-progress learning plans and courses, and scheduled trainings. New certifications, classes, and no-cost live training seminars and massive open online courses (MOOCs) are opening over the next few months, so explore what’s new from Esri Academy.

Learn How to Automate Workflows

For many organizations, automating workflows to quickly uncover insights from data is critical—especially given how rapidly technology is evolving. Esri provides several instructor-led training courses to help individuals learn and develop the skills they need to maximize automation opportunities in GIS.

  • Spatial Data Science: Advance Your AnalyticsThis brand-new instructor-led course helps analysts, data scientists, and researchers learn how to apply spatial statistical techniques and predictive analysis tools in ArcGIS Pro to discover hidden patterns and relationships in data.
  • Creating Python Scripts for ArcGISThis popular three-day course teaches participants how to automate time-consuming or repetitive tasks. Attendees explore the Python environment in ArcGIS Pro and get step-by-step practice with scripting common data management tasks and geoprocessing workflows.

To make it easy for organizations to access instructor-led classes, coaching, and other tailored GIS learning solutions, they can purchase the Esri Training Pass.

Make Time for Massively Popular Online Courses

Participating in an Esri MOOC is an excellent way to improve GIS skills and keep up with trending topics. Each no-cost course includes access to ArcGIS software, expert videos, and guided exercises. Participants who finish the course receive a certificate of completion.

Four MOOCs will be offered this fall, including two new ones. Registration for the following courses is open now:

  • The ArcGIS Imagery MOOC: Foundations and FrontiersRunning August 26–October 7, this course takes participants on a journey through the latest ways to use GIS and geospatial AI to combine imagery, remote sensing, and geospatial data. Real-world scenarios provide context for how organizations can get the most out of using GIS with imagery.
  • Spatial Data Science: The New Frontier in AnalyticsOffered September 23–November 4, this MOOC teaches data-engineering workflows—including spatial methods and algorithms, regression analysis, deep learning models, and space-time cubes—that help users gain deeper insight from their data.

Stay up to date with the latest MOOC offerings.
