US Data
Traffic Counts
Esri sources its traffic count data from Kalibrate TrafficMetrix, which delivers traffic analytics for major roads and highways across the US. This dataset is created from sources that include the US government, engineering firms, and highway and transportation departments.
For February 2025, this dataset will be updated to Q4 2024.

Global Data
Esri standard demographics provide a consistent data source and methodology across 170+ countries or regions. Many data variables are homogenous across these regions, allowing users to easily compare global markets and communities. New in this release are 2024 updates from Michael Bauer Research for Western Europe and Asia.
- Western Europe: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Türkiye, United Kingdom.

Esri advanced demographics provide a detailed set of data within a country or region and include more data variables or finer levels of geography than those available through standard demographics. Advanced demographics are available for a limited set of countries or regions. New in this release are updates for:
Europe:
Germany (Nexiga) 2024
- Includes 28 new spending variables.
Asia, Oceania:
India (Esri India) 2024
Michael Bauer Research data for India and Esri India have produced a combined data offering that will result in a change in apportionment data. The combined data source will provide more precise demographic information for Indian villages and wards.
- Includes 117 new variables including new categories for spending and segmentation.
- Villages and wards are now a combined dataset where the wards are present in the metro areas. This will be processed for all levels of geography and joined to the existing census.
- The impacted wards will be more detailed and combined into a single layer.
- Pin codes will replace villages and wards, but villages and wards will remain available for mapping purposes.
Japan (Esri Japan) 2025
- Includes approximately 350 variables available within 1km and 500m meshes, also known as a grid.
- The mesh is based on the Japanese census geographies and has been enriched with additional variables outside of the official census release.
Thailand (NOSTRA) 2023
- Has been revised with new demographic models and data inputs.
New Zealand (Stats NZ Tatauranga Aotearoa) 2023
- Three new geography levels have been added (Māaori Wards, Urban & Rural Areas, Statistical Areas 3)
