Description:
The Restoration Barometer, devised by the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) as part of the Bonn Challenge and endorsed by over 40 countries, provides an easy-to-use framework for users to report on their restoration progress. This initiative was launched in 2016 for 5 pilot regions and has since grown rapidly to reach 55 regions in 2021. This rapid growth makes it necessary to adapt the monitoring tools for this ambitious project. The objective of the solution put in place is to offer, on the one hand, an interface for entering reports by the participating countries or regions and, on the other hand, summary public dashboards reporting on the state of progress. for these countries or regions but also more globaly on a planetary scale.
