The application for smartphones GPS Tracker for COP (Common Operational Picture) is part of a system of communication between mobile devices and operation rooms of civil defence or other organizations. The application can assist operators in identifying their position on the field, taking decisions, and sending positioning of the mobile device. Not only the app can perform standard operations such as making calls, but it can also send georeferenced messages. The operation room is able to transmit new targets or new georeferenced events to mobile device, so that the activities in the field and in operation room acquire relevance on a strategic and cooperative level within the Shared Operating Framework (COP).
