Description How can you turn your maintenance and management of the public and outdoor space into a data- and map-driven process? Together with Vebego Groen, a company dedicated to contributing to a green and healthy living environment, we have set up the online GIS platform GrrroenInzicht. What is GrrroenInzicht? This ArcGIS Online-based platform allows for a fully data-driven and automated system that enables field staff, work planners, and project managers to register executed maintenance activities and insights into live project data. Moreover, it allows admin users to plan and roll out new operations via scripts and control and reuse data. Challenge How can you ensure a user-friendly system that provides added value to the whole chain of users? How do you streamline and harmonise working processes, data handling, and workflows? How can automation in ArcGIS Online help us achieve these goals? Technical Implementation We used ArcGIS Online as the basis of the platform. By using default web maps and apps, data templates, and customised user roles, we allow notebooks to roll out new workflows based on prior setup designs, including Web Maps and Apps, view layers, and share groups. Field staff processes data of executed activities through configured forms in Field Maps. Work planners can oversee and control the ongoing work of their teams through dashboards and Experience Builder apps.
